Enhanced mobility with minimal effort
MultiGlide SPU is an ultra-low-friction nylon slide sheet designed for situations where reducing friction under key pressure points is essential—such as when repositioning a person higher up in bed. When used together with a LeanOnMe Wedge to provide a stable push-off surface, MultiGlide SPU makes repositioning significantly smoother. Placed in two layers from the tailbone to the shoulders, it enables controlled, comfortable movement with minimal force required.
Single patient use
The MultiGlide SPU is suitable for departments with high patient “turnover” or an elevated risk of infection. It offers a unique solution for all transfer or repositioning situations and reduces the risk of infection. The MultiGlide SPU can be used repeatedly with the same patient, but is disposable afterwards.
Always at hand
The Multiglide SPU is always readily available – it is placed in the polybag attached to the user's bed. The polybag, which bears the user's name, can be easily fixed to the bed using the drawstring.
Easy to apply and remove
10 m MultiGlide SPU on a roll. Can be cut to desired length. Low-low friction, easy to apply and remove.
Reduces the risk of infection
MultiGlide SPU reduces the risk of infection associated with cross-contamination. It is for single patient use only, and disinfection is not required. It can be used in a department with high patient “turnover” or high infection risk. The Immedia MultiGlide SPU is radiolucent.
