Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4th August 2026

Drive Mobility LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our website or contact us, how we use it, and the rights you have. We are the “data controller” for this information under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

Drive Mobility LTD, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 17056038). Registered office: Unit LY7, Overgreen Farm, Church Lane, Wishaw, Sutton Coldfield, B76 9QH. For any privacy question, email enquiries@drivemobility.co.uk or call +11 1234 567 890.

The information we collect

  • Information you give us when you submit a product enquiry or contact form: your name, email address, telephone number, and the content of your message or enquiry (including the product you’re asking about).

  • Health or disability information — only if you choose to provide it, for example when asking about a product’s suitability or about VAT relief for eligible customers. This is “special category” data and we handle it with extra care (see lawful basis below).

  • Information collected automatically when you browse: your IP address, browser and device type, and how you use the site, gathered through cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).

We do not take payments through this website and we do not operate a newsletter, so we do not collect payment-card details or marketing-list subscriptions.

How we use your information, and our lawful basis

Purpose Lawful basis (UK GDPR)
Responding to your enquiry and providing product information, advice or a quote Legitimate interests, and/or taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract
Assessing VAT-relief eligibility where you provide details of a disability/condition Explicit consent (you provide it voluntarily for this purpose); we also keep the declaration to meet our legal/tax obligations
Running, securing and improving our website Legitimate interests; analytics cookies are used only with your consent
Meeting legal, accounting and regulatory obligations Legal obligation

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run our business, and only as needed: our website hosting provider, our email provider, and our website analytics provider. We may also share information with our professional advisers (such as accountants or solicitors) or where required by law. All providers are bound to keep your data secure and use it only on our instructions.

International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we ensure an appropriate safeguard is in place (such as UK “adequacy” regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement) so your data receives equivalent protection.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for 24 months after your last contact, unless a sale or ongoing relationship means we need it longer, or the law requires us to keep certain records (for example, tax records for 6 years). VAT-relief declarations are kept for as long as required by HMRC. We then securely delete it.

Your rights

You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; ask us to correct it or delete it; restrict or object to our use of it; request a copy in a portable format; and, where we rely on consent, withdraw that consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email enquiries@drivemobility.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, by calling 0303 123 1113, or by writing to Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF. We’d appreciate the chance to resolve it with you first.

Security

Our website uses secure (HTTPS) connections and we apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your data safe.

Children

Our website and products are aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with the “last updated” date above.
