An active tilt and recline wheelchair that provides the right level of support at the right time. Prio is designed to support trunk control, fatigue, and changing postural needs, while maintaining seating tolerance and independence throughout every stage.
Multiple configurations
Prio can be configured to match individual ability and needs. Set it up in an active configuration with a well-balanced frame, medium back support height and limited tilt for more independent mobility. Or add electric tilt and recline for effortless adjustment at the touch of a button. And as needs change, Prio can be reconfigured. Whatever the setup, Prio adapts to support both activity and comfort.
Dynamic posterior pelvic support
Adapts to both activity and rest. Reclining the back support will automatically reduce the strap tension and retighten when the back is brought to an upright position. The ideal combination for activity and rest. The pelvic strap is height adjustable for precise setting. The dynamic posterior pelvic support cannot be combined with Prio electric tilt.
Adjustable lumbar angle
Adjust the lumbar angle for individual posture needs. Adjustable -12º to +10º .
Adjustable back support height
You only need one back support chassi. The back support height is adjustable between 46 – 62 cm (18 – 24½”) and by adding the back extension accessory you can get as high as 52 – 68 cm (20½ – 26¾”).
Adjustable front and rear seat depht
Seat depth is adjustable from 39 – 51 cm (15½” – 20”). Using both rear and front adjustment facilitates finding an optimized balance point. Front adjustment 7 cm (2¾”). Rear adjust: 5 cm (2”).
Optimum balance
Optimise the wheel position in relation to the selected seat depth to find the optimum balance position.
3D back cushion
The 3D back cushion has three soft padded panels connected with slide fabric, shape and optimum support can be created in all directions, following the user´s back. The 3D back cushion is ideal for kyphosis and asymmetrical postures.
Back extension
Add 6 cm back height with the back extension incl. one extra strap. Using the back extension on the 3A back support the highest back height is 68 cm.
Embracing side cushions
Embracing support that can be combined with all cushion options. Rotate to choose between two different shapes. Supported by the arm support or side stops. Sold per piece.
